Meet Your Artist

I'm a Chilean-Canadian tattoo artist and black & grey realism is what I do best. For me, tattooing is personal. It's about the people you carry with you, the memories you don't want to lose, the things that matter most.

Whether it's a portrait of someone you've lost, a piece that connects you to your roots, or something you've been thinking about for years, I'll take the time to get it right. I care about the details because you care about the details.

You can find me at Avalon Tattoo Collective in New Westminster, BC. I've been doing this for years and I still get excited about every new piece.

Culture First

Rooted in Latin culture, respect, and real meaning

Clean Lines, Deep Shading

Black & grey work that holds up and ages well

It's About You

Every piece starts with your story, not a template

What I Do

Every piece is custom. Here's what I work on most.

Black & Grey Realism

Fine-line portraits, religious imagery, cultural pieces. The kind of work that makes people do a double take. Clean lines, smooth shading, and detail that holds up over time.

  • Fine-line technique
  • Smooth grey wash
  • Photorealistic detail

Memorial Tattoos

Portraits of people you've lost, symbols that keep them close. I take my time with these because they matter. You'll see the design before we start, and we'll get it right together.

  • Portrait realism
  • Religious imagery
  • Personal symbolism

Large-Scale Work

Sleeves, back pieces, multi-session projects. I design these as a whole so everything flows together and works with your body. Not just a collection of random pieces stitched together.

  • Sleeve designs
  • Full compositions
  • Multi-session planning

How It Works

Four steps from idea to ink.

01

We Talk

Tell me who or what this tattoo is for. The more I know about your story, the better the piece will be. No pressure, just a conversation.

02

I Draw It Up

I design something custom based on our conversation. You see it before anything touches skin, and we tweak it until you love it. No flash, no shortcuts.

03

Tattoo Day

We work at Avalon Tattoo Collective in New West. Bigger pieces might take a few sessions. Take breaks whenever you need to. I'm not in a rush.

04

Aftercare

I walk you through healing so your tattoo looks just as good in five years. Questions after? Text me. Touch-ups? Included.

Client Stories

What people say after getting tattooed

"She got my grandmother's face exactly right. I cried when I saw the finished piece. Keila was so patient with me through the whole thing."

ML

Maria L.

Guadalupe Portrait

"Needed someone who actually understands the culture and doesn't just copy references off Google. Keila gets it. My sleeve is exactly what I wanted."

CR

Carlos R.

Sleeve

"First tattoo ever and I was so nervous. Keila made me feel totally at ease. The line work is insane. Everyone asks me where I got it."

JT

Jessica T.

Black & Grey Rose

"My dad passed two years ago. Keila did his portrait and it honestly looks like a photograph. I look at it every day."

MS

Miguel S.

Memorial Portrait

"The detail on my sacred heart is ridiculous. Up close it looks like a drawing, not a tattoo. She really knows what she's doing."

SM

Sofia M.

Sacred Heart

"Took three sessions and Keila was consistent the whole way through. The whole piece flows together. Couldn't be happier."

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before booking

It depends on the size and detail. I quote everything on a project basis after we talk about what you want. No surprises. We'll go over pricing during your free consultation.
Fill out the booking form on this site. No DMs, please. I'll get back to you to set up a consultation. Spots are limited so don't wait too long.
Smaller pieces run 2-4 hours. Sleeves and bigger work take multiple sessions spread over weeks or months. I'll give you a time estimate during consultation so you know what to expect.
No. Everything is by appointment. I need time to design your piece properly, and walk-ins don't allow for that. Book through the form and we'll get you scheduled.
I take a non-refundable deposit to hold your spot and start drawing. The amount depends on the project and it goes toward your total cost.
Eat a real meal, drink water, wear something comfortable, skip the alcohol the night before. Bring headphones if you want. I'll send you a full prep list after booking.
I give you a full aftercare sheet after your session. Short version: keep it clean, moisturize lightly, stay out of the sun, no swimming for a few weeks. Hit me up if anything looks off during healing.
Yes, but not every old tattoo can be covered. I'll be straight with you about what's possible. Some pieces work great as cover-ups, others might need a different approach. We'll figure it out together.
